Avenged Sevenfold Books Free Show
Rockers Avenged Sevenfold--who, as previously reported, will launch a US tour at the end of this month--plan to warm up for the outing with a free show on their Southern California home turf.
The group has unveiled plans for an Oct. 20 performance at The Key Club in West Hollywood, CA, that will begin at 4 p.m. PT, and will be taped for broadcast on MySpace's "The List" later this month. Those hoping to attend the show are required to wear a Halloween costume, and will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, according to a press release. No tickets will be sold or distributed in advance.
Avenged Sevenfold is gearing up for the Oct. 30 release of its sophomore major-label album, a self-titled set that features the cut "Critical Acclaim," which is streaming at the band's MySpace page.
