NIN's Reznor Tells Fans To Steal Music

Nine Inch Nails maestro Trent Reznor--who, back in May, wrote a scathing post published at the band's website in which he fumed about the high price in Australia of his latest album, "Year Zero"--blew off some more steam about the matter during his return visit to Oz last night (9/16).

"I remember that, last time I was here, I was doing a lot of complaining about the ridiculous prices of CDs down here," he said to the crowd at his Sydney performance, as shown in a bootleg video of his diatribe posted on YouTube. "And that story got picked up and got carried all around the world, and now my record label [Interscope/Universal Music Group] all around the world hates me because I yelled at them and called them out for being greedy f---ing a--holes."

"I didn't get a chance to check," he continued. "Has the price come down at all? ... Has anyone seen the price come down? OK, well, you know what that means: steal it. Steal away. Steal and steal and steal some more and give it to all your friends and keep on stealing ... because, one way or another, these motherf-----s will get it through their head that they're ripping people off and that's not right.

"I probably didn't make any friends by saying that," he joked before diving into the next song.
